The National Speech & Debate Association is one of the largest high school honors socieities in the world, offers a wide array of events such as Public Speaking, Interpretation, and Debate events to suit all types of performers. There are ENDLESS REASONS why Speech & Debate is worth a try!

Since 1970, West High's Debate team has been actively involved in giving youth a voice and has collected several individual successes. But West NSDA is unique because it actively seeks to create a community of students who want to better themselves and better the world. As we say, trophies are nice, but they melt in the microwave. It is the experiences that will last a lifetime.
